I've had this card in my collection for some time - it looks pretty clean but I'm not sure if I should go the extra mile and get it graded. Thoughts? Opinions?

might be a (vg) card worth maybe 60-100 graded...thats considering - its real. Those 1914-15 cracker jacks are being re-printed. The guys at Net54 are experienced in the vintage and easily can tell.
If i remember, there was a thread about a new release of cracker jacks or something they re=printing.

I really doubt it is a reprint since it was bought 25 years ago.

From what I can tell, this card is absolutely authentic. On reprints, the player's white jersey is typically a different color and creates a distinguishable rectangular border around the entire card. This card, however, shows that the bottom of the sleeve of the jersey blends completely into the border, which is a good sign for its authenticity. I'm no expert on Cracker Jack, but this is how I have been told to spot reprints.

Thanks for taking a look. I'm going to bring this and a bunch of my other cards (specifically the Imperial Tobacco cards) to a dealer near me to get his opinion too. I'll likely get these graded just to protect them. The tobaccos are so thin and flimsy that they always slip right out of the penny sleeve and loader when I pick them up. I've tried everything including the tobacco screw cases - so annoying!
