my sunday rant.
Ok so ive been trading alot and buying stuff on ebay for my terrell owens PC...ive been VERY patient with this but i have to address something to my fellow traders and im not sure if anyone agrees with me or not BUT....
TAPE! i do NOT want to take 5 minutes unwrapping a package and/or a card due to WAY too much tape. yesterday i got a trade in(not mentioning names nor am i unhappy with the trade) but it took me literally 5 minutes to open a SINGLE card package due to tape. If you wanna wrap your packages and cards in tape.. dont trade with me.. or ill send it right back and im just being open and honest.
rant done.
-thanks

I don't mind the tape so much.... just cut it
Only bad thing about too much tape is I hate the residue it leaves on the loaders to the point I refuse to even recycle them for trading.
I'm guilty myself of over taping when in a rush to get a package out.

pennysleeve bags work well. ive been saving used team bags also. put it in, tape it shut, the toploader stays sticky free.

It should be a rule that if you use tape on a toploader, that it be blue painter's tape, which leaves no residue. Either that or just place it in a team bag like I do. I @@!!!!HATE!!!@@ tape on topladers!

Or, if you send with tape - fold an edge over so it leaves a tab that allows you to pull all the tape off. Leaves little to no residue.

this is why i use team bags, i hate tape lol. if anything ill just wrap the cards in a couple of pieces of paper then use a small amount of tape to keep the paper from unfolding.
plus sometimes tape on the top loader can ruin the card by putting too much pressure on it when its sealed.

I use the blue painters tape, works great and no residue. THEN put it in a PWE THEN put it in a bubble mailer... always and forever do it this way.

Its the age old debate, tape or no tape. I think its just easiest telling the person your trading with what your preference is.
