Collection Up and Running

RE: Collection Up and Running
Omaha is becoming a hotbed for talent. Anthony Smith (who yes just got his ***** handed to him in his first UFC fight), Houston Alexander, Dakota Cochrane, Jason Brilz, Ryan Jensen, Jake and Joe Ellenberger all train at Premier Combat here in Omaha.

Yea, It's the same up here in New York/New Jersey area. Gym's like AMA and Serra MMA just pump out talent. I've been lucky to meet almost all those guys. It's always cool to see local talent make it big.

yea its really cool when its your area. im in southern cali about 20 miles from dan hendos gym (unfortunately they do not let visitors in) and i am right across the street from a ufc gym. it might be the first they built? im not for sure but man ufc guys do a lot of promos there. i cant afford their membership lol its really just a fancy gym with the ufc name that they occasionally use for promos

Hurtado they have no issues letting visitors in at Team Quest. They just don't allow them during the pro workout sessions. Every mma gym is that way.

It opened 2 years ago almost exactly and so yea they had a few around then. But since then maybe 1 a year unfortunately. But man its so freeking crowded! I mean southern cali is too crowded to begin with and now mma is getting very trendy in this area in my opinion so all these people who really know nothing show up. And there gym memberships are ridiculous. I have a gym in my housing community for free and its just fine-sauna and all!

Yes but I have gone twice and called too and they are very strict-wont really let u see much or talk to any of the pros. Kinda rude actually and let me down but I still like Hendo.

Yea MMA gyms are crazy since UFC took it mainstream. It's the same way here, there's a MMA gym on every block and they all want crazy amounts of money. We have renzo gracie's up here (Basically the same deal as UFC Gym) and they want way too much just because they bring Renzo around every once and a blue moon. It's just nuts.
