I took him as being dead serious; just grossly uninformed.

I agree, I want to see a picture. I bet Id spot that bad of an offcentered card in a second. Sorry it graded bad but Im thinking you should have done more research yourself on how to look for centering. It really isnt that hard, you just look at borders and logos and such and see if sides are equal.

First of all I did the 10-day service and of course Beckett took all 10 days, including no weekends to get my card graded.

I literally pulled the card from the pack, put it in protective casing and sent it to them to get graded.

I look at the Pop report today and the card was graded a 7.5. Why?

Corners-9 Edges-9.5 Surfaces-10 Autograph-10 and Centring 6.5???

How the hell can a Professional Card Company put a product in the pack knowing it's centering will be a 6.5. A 6.5 out of a product that was created in 2012!

I know it's probably not even worth it, but I am going to make sure and voice my displeasure to both Topps and Beckett because for a total of $43 for grading+shipping I think this was a huge waste of money.

Beckett Grading is a joke giving my card a 6.5, thereby downgrading it from a 9 to a 7.5!
I couldn't agree with you more about the card companies putting out garbage product. Some of the higher end stuff goes for $600 per box and only has 10 cards in it! I find something wrong with almost every card I have bought that is pack fresh and it is all do to production. IMO there should be a QA specialist on-site making sure the cuts are 50/50 and the cardboard is flawless. Panini and Topps COME ON MAN!

I've been busting Topps packs for nearly 50 years now and pretty sure that this CANDY company has never once spent 5 minutes worrying about the centering on their baseball cards.

Its why Topps cards with high sub grades sell for a premium. Especially those older than 1979.

Best of luck in your complaints . I'm pretty sure they'll give them the same consideration they've been giving other consumer complaints about their baseball cards since 1952.

Which is to remind people they are a candy company and frankly don't care one iota about the baseball card centering of their items. Or the corners. Or the surface. Or how well its focused. or how good the registration is.

Get em' Jeff! Although I have to disagree with you about Topps. They should take their customers seriously because it is these pieces of cardboard that keep them in business. Sad part is you're right, they have been pushing out off-centered cards for as long as I can remember. I'm strictly a football fan now and the only Topps I mess with is singles on Ebay from the Archives autographed issued edition. It's not just Topps though, it is all them hooligans! Good day :-)

I actually thought this was an intentional troll thread at first lol.

But add me in with the folks that want to see this difficult to spot 6.5 centering card.
