Jeff,

I have a Josh Gordon Blue Wave Refractor that I had graded and when you use the serial # lookup. it shows as "not found"
The serial # is 0007692934
I have also emailed you a scan of the card.

Thanks!

I've found, that sometimes you have to enter the number multiple times for it to register.

Thanks for email and the pic Dan.

Set isn't tied into registry properly. Same problem as Johns Matt Forte items .Involves more than just the one card.

I'll advise when they tell me its fixed. My guess is they changed an internal process and either moved some tables or changed how they were linking to registry. I've got the internal expert there on it and I've let them know its a priority .

Brian Blankenburg

As all my prior emails and online posts have stated the staff who are on the coin database project are the same staffers required to handle the database related registry issues.

Your Pepitone item requires manual entry in order to appear correctly = a functionality that will not be available until coding is begun to allow manual entry over ride . The Wickersham requires them to do coding for the BVG legacy system items = a solution which I have told you I will get resolved when they have time to deal with me ( I've been told Jan earliest to talk anything registry wise not related to coins).

Want my timetable guess based on IT & other info I'm privy to?
Figure Spring 2014.

Just set them aside for now Brian.

I have reminders set up in my computer that remind me each week to check on certain items. I'm on it - your not forgotten. The database issues involved will be resolved in due time. I'll be the first to know when they get solved and you'll ALL be notified when they resolve those BVG related items because I'll make a major post about the solution Smile

Is it a Master Registry card that you are trying to put in a Basic Registry?

I apparently also have to straighten out the OPG on that set. Someone back then just rushed this set without proofreading it.

Some cards in the Bowman Chrome set listed on the OPG are shown as # 65 while some are # BC65 yet when I view these cards the backs ALL say # BC65. This is going to require a mass change. Sigh,,, nothing like constant database updates the OPG guys are gonna hate my guts by years end Sad

Me

PART 1 is now complete= OPG has been corrected on this set. The set has the proper nomenclature now they all say the correct BC65.

PART 2 is more difficult. The label was a force thru. To correct would be easy but it would come up as 0.0 in a registry.

So- you can wait until we get manual entry override capability in the spring 2014 to enter it as is.

Or re-sub it on a new sub , get a new label on it under the corrected nomenclature, and it becomes enter able with a grade assigned. If you choose this method see me I'll save you money.

Your choices ,,,,
Jeff
