2012-13 Preferred Signatures Red Collection (Complete! Redemption Update 05/02/2015)
As some of you may know I chased this set last year and am currently at 123/130. This year I'm at it again, not as big a fan of the design this year but love the on card autos. I was a little disappointed that they didn't include D. Rose, D. Robinson, CP3, Rodman, Nowitzki, G. Hill to name a few, but there are some new players including Steve Nash and Jerry West. ANYWAYS I received my first one today and so I am going to keep track of the progression in this thread.

expensive tastes...how much are the packs that you're busting? my lcs had em at $185 a pack/box. good luck on this set!

It might be just me, but I actually like the design. All hard-signed cards makes it even better than the previous set in my opinion.
- certified autograph card sets builder (basketball only and mostly from 90's)
- also collect legends and stars on-card autographs, and anything that catches my eyes (mostly basketball)

Thanks! Well, I haven't actually busted any packs yet. I decided against it because it would have eaten up a lot of my funds and it is cheaper buying them as singles. A majority of this set are lower end players that are fairly cheap to pick up $5 - $20. But there have been several so far that proving hard to get.. the Curry and the Mourning particularly are going much higher than I had anticipated. All of my other PCs are on hold now which sucks but I knew if I didn't start big early I'd have a hard time finding the Rare pieces down the road (Which was the problem I ran into with last years.)

I love the on card autos it makes it worth more to me although almost every Red auto I have seen has minor wear on edges and some corners.... I don't know if its a design flaw or maybe attributed to the handling of the cards when signed. I do like the design, but I preferred the solid red background versus the faded in game shots.

I picked up a detlef schrempf as we have that trade still going on figued I saw that ur doing the red set again I'd start shopping seeing if I can get some of the cheaper ones for 5$ or less. Even if you do get any I can always use them as tradebait.

Thanks I appreciate that I already have the Detlef though :S I haven't made it to my trade box I'll check it out when I get home see where we were at. Just to let you or anyone else know, these are the ones I have already (Not 100% but I think I have the Vince Carter Locked in too)

Very nice set to chase, love the Lakers ones you picked up. I just picked up the Rick Fox Panini's Choice Red /25. Maybe I'll chase the Lakers ones on that set.
