Combined Shipping
I often buy cards I don't really want because I find it hard to pay more in shipping than the item.
So I find a card I like and end up buying 8 others that are meh just because the combined shipping is only an extra $0.25 per card.
I really need to narrow my collection down because I am currently collecting 12 (sets/players).
And now I am buying stuff I don't want because it's cheap.
I haven't bought a Duncan patch in like 2 years because they are going for crazy amounts now. I used to get them for under $10 shipped for a nice 3 colour /50 or less. Now they go for like $25-$100.
Just needed to vent.

I suggest going to COMC. You can buy the certain sets/players you're looking for and wait to ship them out all at once. Shipping now is $3 flat.

The cards always seem over priced there.

maybe like $10 cards.
however, patches seem to be 75-200% more than ebay.

I find alot of dealers put at higher because they have auto accepts set on their inventory. Alot up to 50% so dont be afraid to make offers on cards you find on there.

I always find myself doing that. Especially for my overseas orders or from the guys that charge $5 for first item! Whenever I order from China, I always order big...get WAY more than what I should have, justifying that if I bought it separate, it would cost me more.

RE: Combined Shipping
I do the same thing. Whenever I win an auction I am always checking the other auctions for combined shipping. I have gotten tons of cards I didn't want that way, but couldn't pass up when the starting bid is under $1 and the combined shipping is low for each additional item.
I have gotten hooked on COMC as well, and agree that lots of things are overpriced, but I have also found the plenty of sellers accept 50% off their asking price. Though I do find it frustrating that other sellers simply deny the offer instead of countering.
