Hi guys,


When I was around 10 or so, my neighbor gave me an autographed g/u baseball signed by Alan Trammell and Cecil Fielder.

BTW, are these autos even near legit? I don't want to send it in so the guys can laugh at me in the lunch room lol.












I would like to get the autographs authenticated, but I have zero idea what to do. I assume I can send it in to a company that does this.

Who has the best reputation?

I know they can't authenticate the g/u part of the ball, but would it then just be a dirty ball with autos?

Really!? I didn't know they did mem, I thought just cards, thanks man. Does BGS do mem as well?

Someone at the LCS mentioned JSA or JLA...something of that sort...

I'm leaning toward PSA. So far I have a few votes for them from here and the LCS.

Does anyone have anything against PSA? I've only had 1 card graded in the past, and that was through BVG, so I'm a complete noob here!

Those look legit to me. If you're looking to authenticate it for the purpose of selling it, be sure to research the going rate of similara auto'd balls. Authentication isn't cheap, so you'd obvioulsy need to take that into account; especially on a used ball.

Whatever you decide to do, it's a cool item. Especially as a Tigers fan that grew up during that era.
