Site glitches
I can't be the only person that gets fed up with how slow this site is all of the glitches too. I can't even upload pics right now. This is one of the main reasons why I don't post very often. This is depressing, lol. Everyone have a good Friday.

I collect LeBron, Jordan, Kobe and anything that catches my eye.

RE: Site glitches
upload pics? in the forums? that has never worked, you have to use photobucket or imageshack or something similar

as for site speed: since they "fixed" it yesterday, it's been very fast

I'm not trying to upload to the site. I was trying to create a new thread. The system kept freezing/locking. The sites speed has never been fixed, lol.

since yesterday, the speed is normal as to the rest of the web.

im using firefox, but even with IE, not having issues

if you are using FF ir chrome, make sure you use the adblocker plus addon. makes a huge difference

RE: Site glitches
I have been in luck myself. Not a glitch or slower page load in any manner.

RE: Site glitches
First of all, Hi. I subscribed on the 12th. I have collected on and off since 1990 but mostly in the 90's.

Regarding speed, I've been banging my head on the table regarding how miserably slow this site is. I haven't uploaded any photo examples to card details but I do a lot of searches because I'm updating prices for hundreds of cards that I haven't looked at in years. I have probably spent as much time waiting as I have done actual work. I get the dim screen with the little dots scrolling slowly and eventually it comes back. Sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes I get quick results. Even going from page 1 to the next page and so on is slow and that should be fast since it has already done the look up and I'm just moving to the next page.

I was on last night and I didn't have any lockups and MAYBE it was a LITTLE faster but by no means as fast as it could/should be. Today's technology allows for proper load balancing, virtual servers and probably things that have developed since I've been out of tech. I can't understand why a site that is pretty much dependent on a database can't get it right.

If this is the way it's always going to be I definitely won't re-subscribe. This month was pretty much a trial.

Rant over! :-)

RE: Site glitches
On the other hand you should check your side too- Beckett suggests using Chrome as IE just doesnt work well here for most (it is what it is) but right now everything is fast so might be worth checking your end to be sure
