How can you not know about LaFontaine... he was THE premier US-born forward, until Modano, Roenick, Tkachuk, etc came around... Unless you're from the UP, up north, or the west side... then maybe... But if you're in the metro detroit area, this is critical information to have. That's like saying if you head south from Detroit, the first foreign county you get to is Mexico..
