Yeah I pretty much suspect any insane patch might be fake. I'd still pick it up though if the price was right. Lol. I'm sure my collection has a few bogus jersey cards, but I try not to think about it too much. Jersey cards aren't much bigger than base cards to me in today's hobby, so I'm more drawn to wild patches nowadays, fake or not.
Currently collect: NON-SERIAL NUMBERED autos, Topps, and Topps Chrome cards of players in Bengals uniforms.

I hate to say it but I somewhat agree. Fakers have gotten so good these days and heck the card usually looks a whole lot better with a nice patch in it. This example is doing way to much though. I'm still nervous everytime I buy a super nice patch, always afraid of getting an email saying its a fake down the road if I end up selling it.

RE: People still fall for fake patches?
2 things to point out. 1. since its a Panini card it can be authenticated 2. Roddy White has been around since 2005 so in theory the patch "could" be real. Hopefully whoever bought it knows about the LED light trick or at least knows Panini authenticates their patches.

I wouldve stayed FAR away from it lol..

We should start a Fake Patch thread so anytime we see something fishy we can post it and discuss it. Just my 2 cents.
Unique Cards:
Dolphins - 6000+
Marino - 2140
Zach Thomas - 869
Jason Taylor - 749
Lamar Miller - 341
