1996 Leaf Gold Signatures Derek Jeter BGS 4 sells for $1324.00
All I can say is wow I am glad I bought my BGS 9 a few years ago for the price of $1,500.00. It's gotten crazy collecting him now as I have been outbid a lot by people who I don't know for certain cards. This is alright by me because when one of the top 3 cards I need shows up I will have more money to offer for it.

I wonder if people are speculating on his career ending soon so more people are grabbing his cards now before the HOF vote.
I have noticed that since Mariano Rivera announced his retirement, it has been taking me longer and more money to get even his simple short print or parallels in Heritage then in previous years, I used to be able to bag every one of them except for the low numbered ones for 99 cents.

What in the world could have happened to get a surface grade of 3 when the rest of the card was in darn good shape?

The seller answers a question on that - still very hard to see the flaw on the card.
How much more would it have gone if he cracked it out of the case and sold raw?

That’s probably what I would have done but I am not sure how much more it would of sold for. I think the 10 on the Auto helped this out a lot as well.

Did I miss something? Why on earth would anyone pay that much for that card? I PC Derek Jeter and I would not go anywhere near that card. Best of luck to the buyer and I hope it looks good next to his or her BGS 10 Jeter card.
