Due to the fact I consider him to be the greatest athlete of all time I have to vote for the 55 All American Jim Thorpe..
Since I first started collecting back in 1979 (yes I'm that old) I have always wanted this card.
Finally 4 years ago I picked up this beauty for about 1/4 of its Book Value.
The 55 set was such a revolution in card production that it has to rank as one of the greatest sets ever...

id say theres alot.. i dont consider an " autograph" card as iconic honestly.. only because theres wayyy too many to consider. id go with joe namath topps rc as my #1 though. This ultimately turns into a popularity and specifics list by what i saw.. some were original.
Collecting Terrell Owens,Tom Brady,Peyton Manning, Josh Hamilton, Alex Smith
If you don't have any HIGH end cards, please don't try to acquire one of mine. Thank you.
