Me and gunnar have been talking about building a little older set. we were going to do a 77 topps set cause we both like the way the cards look but couldnt find a good starter set. so today we were at a card show and a guy had a 82 topps set that had 492 of the cards in it and for 8 bucks we said we would give it a try. we gathered it up. another guy had a bunch of cards for .2,.5,.10 each so we spent about a hour going through them. we picked up 52 more of the cards we needed for 1.00. so we are 544 cards in for a total of 9 bucks. not bad and now the hunt begins. we are looking foward to this as we had a blast today after this one we will look to go older.

Which 82 set are you looking for? There is 153 sets listed on Beckett.

I looked at your Org and didn't see anything marked as a want... Yoy need to tell us what cards you are looking for.

sorry Ray im a noob...lol.... fixed it. just picked the set up today and havent got a chance to add anything

so i picked up 76 more off of the bay for 6 bucks that brings me to 620. i am now 15 dollars in to this set but still need the Ripken. One is ending on the bay here in a few and hope to pick it up cheap, we will see. any one got any 82 topps singles?

so i scored the Ripken today for $13.62 so that takes care of the high dollar card of the set. so that brings me to $28.62 so far. wonder if i will be able to finish the set for under $40 dollars? thats the goal now. we will see how it works out.

i just picked up 95 more cards from dj000524. Thanks Dwayne. that puts me at 715 . need to check the list you sent me stickhostcs i think there is 10 or so on there i still need will let you know.
