Been a while since I've updated. Here's my progress, for those interested (if any). I now have acquired a rookie card, or autograph of 87 of the top 100 players of all time (according to the last vote by the NFL Network). Two are coming in by mail (#86 Willie Davis and #24 John Hannah). I will post those two when they are received. 13 to go! Hope to finish by end of 2015.
The final 13 needed are Bronko Nagurski, Bob Lilly, Sid Luckman, Chuck Bednarik, Lance Alworth, Bart Starr, Mike Ditka, Willie Brown, Norm Van Brocklin, Joe Schmidt, Elroy "Crazy Legs" Hirsch, Ernie Nevers and Fran Tarkenton. Personally, I much prefer an undamaged (OC) card than a perfectly centered card with bent corners, edges, etc. If it came out of a pack that way and wasn't damaged, particularly with vintage stuff, it doesn't bother me. Other peoples' thoughts?

Very nice. I never thought about chasing that list, but it definitely makes for a great list to chase. Maybe once I finish my NBA@50 set I will try for this one.
