Question about a surface Grade?
I hope to get a reply from a grader about this questionable subgrade. I just got a order back from BGS and my 2012 topps chrome Trent Richardson 1965 red refractor came back with a 7 surface subgrade?

The machine that numbers the cards appears to have slightly missed and does not read correctly.

Would this cause an awful surface subgrade? I'm extremely disappointed. Do I sent it back to topps and ask for a replacement?

Yes thats the cause of the low grade.
As far as a Topps replacement, thats up to you, but you likely wont get the same card.
