Best of 2012 packages
I've been buying a lot of the "best of 2012" packages at the Walmart. The 11-14 pack variety tend to come with several packs of Bowman, Allen and Ginter, and a random other such as GQ or Heritage... So far they have provided decent stock to get me back into trading.
I grabbed one on the way home tonight, and while the results are by no means spectacular, FINALLY a box that "paid" for itself in very few cards.
Small but happy victory.

RE: Best of 2012 packages
The last 2 that I bought got me zilch!
Totally hosed, not even 1 good parallel card. It was the plainest assortment that I've ever seen.
But it makes up for one I bought about 2-3 months ago when I got an amazing 3 auto cards! ... Nobody spectacular, but it was the best I ever got from a Walmart assortment. It even had a topps series 2 pack with a golden giveaway code that got me an online card! It was a lucky day!
I guess if I saved used tinfoil and used tea bags instead of old comic books and old baseball cards, the difference between a crazed hoarder and a savvy collector is in that inherent value.
