I know that this is a baseball forum but I have a question about a Racing card. It seems that I usually get a better response in this forum than any other.

The 2003 Press Pass Trackside card of Jamie McMurray #14 is listed in the Beckett database with "CRC". Now I know that "RC" stands for "rookie card" but I can't figure out what "CRC" stands for; if it even has anything remotely to do with rookie cards.

Cup Rookie Card


In other words it's their big boy circuit rookie card. Where as they might have cards before that in Busch or Truck race uniforms but it's their first card of them in their Cup Series uniforms or car.


Similar to baseball Prospect cards and then the players actual major league rookie card.
