Much deserved award for a sensational season. Almost any other year Peyton gets it going away but what AD did for the Vikings this year was other-worldly. No way that team should have even sniffed the playoffs, especially after Percy Harvin went down. With virtually no threat in the passing game AT ALL to keep defenses honest Peterson was still able to finish 9 yards away from football immortality. All this after December ACL surgery. Congrats!

And congrats also to Bruce Arians for being named AP Coach of the Year. Also well-deserved.

Randall McDaniel, John Randle, Chris Doleman and Cris Carter elected to the HoF recently, 2007 RoY for AP, 2009 RoY for Harvin, 2013 Pro Bowl MVP for Rudolph and NFL MVP for AP. I'd rather see a SB win, but these are nice consolation prizes.
