After a long hiatus, I'm back! Anyhow, I stopped off at Target and picked up a blaster box of Rookies and Stars. I was on the last pack when I looked down in the box and realized that sucker was THICK! I was expecting an auto patch card of Manti Teo's girlfriend, but was surprised to pull this:
The scratches and whatnot are from the plastic case. Numbered out of 49! Not too shabby!!!
On my birthday, I went to my LCS which has a well-known birthday mojo legend. I had to test this. I bought a box of Gridiron that was okay, but I also bought a box of Topps Chrome hoping for some sweet refractors. My single auto hit ended up being this beauty:
Numbered out of 30!!!! I couldn't believe it!
This next hit wasn't from a box, but I had to show this off. During the 2011 preseason, I thought this Kaepernick kid was going to be something special, so I bought this on eBay for $7.51 and kept it in my card archive:
A lot of guys around here told me to start buying some singles after my Playbook heartbreak, and I'm more than happy that I did!
