Maybe I'm late to the party on this, but I thought these relics contained items officially used in the World Series - I was watching a few on EBAY (I'm looking for one of Vogelsong) and read the back of one and notice the relic was not used in the World Series and may have come from any number of games. Did you guys know this too? Funny to pay $125 for a game-used card when you can get another game-used of the same player for $5 with the only difference being the cheaper one won't say World Series on it ...

That is correct. However, they are low-numbered.

That's the reason I didn't pick up any of the Cardinals ones from last years. Just a normal jersey / bat card I believe.
