I have been going thru all of my collectable cards and recently realized that beckett, although very good with having many of my cards listed, does not have everyone...

What I propose is a simple ad hoc field added to the my org in order for collectors to add-in the cards beckett has not research. My particular cards for which drive this request are many overseas tobacco cards from the early 1900's mostly from Great Britain.

The fields could be very simple and not require any monetary value, but would allow for users to have their collections added for possible trades.

I think this would value the system beckett has already established and open the beckett site to a wider array of collectors.

the only caveat i say this would have to happen, is a special marking on it, to let folks know it was user-created, and not part of the official database. in theory, i could create a "variation" to a card, and try to pass it off as official

also, would these be hyperlinked to a individual item page, like how items are now in the database?

i like the general idea, but there has to be some safeguards put in place to avoid fraud

Im all about safeguards for the site, dont want a good thing being ruined by a few abusers. I really just would like to see it happen so I can keep all of my collectables on line and maybe even trade a few.
