Are you sending damaged cards out in trades? Moderator contact
Recently there has been a influx of trades where obviously damaged cards are being sent out in trades. Some of these cards have creases, dents, dings on all corners, bad chipping, etc.
A trade is not completed until both sides are happy and if your trade partner has told you he is not happy with the condition of the cards you sent, then you need to swap back or work something else out with him. I will treat this the same as a bad trader who never sent. Before you package up and send your cards look them over and think to yourself, would I accept this card in its present condition? and DISCLOSE any damage you see. Members should be leaving negative feedback on those who refuse to fix trades where they sent damaged cards but with the mods unable to edit feedback I understand the reluctance. Please try to resolve it with the other trader 1st and if unable to come to an agreemant, then contact a mod for assistance. Don't post call out threads or leave a negative without talking to the other trader and a mod. We do have the ability to place tags under usernames and are doing that now with MUST SEND FIRST tags and will start tagging for this as well if it comes to that. We would prefer it be handled among those involved 1st. Finally, if you have an issue with a trader for whatever reason please contact a mod before putting that trader on blast Looking for these Members!! TOS ![]() US Army-TX |

I like it. I only hope that the receiver of the bad card contacts the sender first before leaving bad feedback or contacting a mod. Most will attempt to fix the issue but there's always some knucklehead that doesn't.

Does this include poorly cut Topps chrome cards? It's always risky to trade for these, esp. 2012 baseball. I personally shred any card 60/40 cut or worse whether I pull it or get in in trade. Usually one miscut card every couple of packs this year. I have gotton several 70/30 and even a couple of 80/20 in trades. I don't complain, just shred and move on. Even if the corners and surface are perfect the miscuts bug me and I don't consider 60/40 or worse NM for trading purposes.

These are two things that upset me is,
1)Lack of postage. 2)Not taping the lid down and Not putting some type of insulation,i,e,blank cards so they don't get damaged by bouncing around in the case.Should there be a thread on the proper way to package cards?

Clear pictures of cards for trade should be mandatory on the site. So many sets are condition sensitive and I feel that people take for granted the value of mint cards.
