One of which I am trying to cancel because the other trader didn't want to trade but it won't let me. I haven't checked my other ones but so far I have 2. Does it have anything to do with how long the trade had sat there? Because some of these trades of mine had sat there for a few weeks.

Clean your cookies, cache, and dns cache, I recommend using ccleaner available here..
Since it is not an overall site problem, and only happening with one or two trades, that means it is a problem with a cookie or the cache of the site from when the site was having problems.......
If it was an overall site problem, it would be happening all the time, to everyone, and it isn't
