Lynch will be fine. Its his first offense and it'll get knocked down to a misdemeanor. I am curious to see who he passed up to get Barber. But having Lynch and Barber as your top 2 RB's isn't bad. They should both be steady. Depends on who he passed up.

with Goodell cracking down you never know. he even currently investigating Marshalls arrest.
Marshawn Lynch-RB- Bills Jun. 25 - 11:06 am et

Marshawn Lynch is expected to plead guilty to a traffic violation on Friday. That is not a criminal charge.

The fact that it's not a criminal charge has to help his chances of avoiding a suspension. Since Lynch is a first-time offender in Buffalo, he will avoid any jail time.

I passed on Gore because he is not the goal line back and Portis because I have a feeling Betts will get a lot of carries this year.

I'm not trying to be a jerk or act like I know everything, but what makes anyone think Betts is gonna be anything more than a backup/insurance policy?

Portis is 26 and in the prime of his career. He stayed healthy the entire year last year, a first. he was ranked 5th or 6th out of all RB's. He was very close to Addai.

Now you have a coach coming in who has been praising Portis from day one, even saying Portis will get even more opportunity in the passing game. Granted, that could be off season fluff, but I just don't get why people shy away from Portis.

All of the cogs are in place for Portis to have an amazing year. I strongly believe he could be in line for 20+ TD's and be the guy who breaks out and has a smashing year. Betts, not so much.

Really?? I think this team is actually very good. I think Barber is a STUD this year. Felix Jones won't take as many carries away as Julius did last year and assuming he stays healthy, I expect at least 1500 total yds and 12-15 TDs from Barber. You also assume that Lynch will only get better and since he had 1100 and 7, even a slight improvement will be quite impressive. Throw in Taylor as a backup and Young as a potential guy your RBs are solid. CJ, ROY and Bowe could all have impressive years. Heap is a stud TE if he is healthy and Dallas is one of my favorite D's this year.

People are bashing Hasselbeck, but he did have just under 4,000 yards and 28 TDs. He's definitely a borderline top 5 QB. I'd be happy with your team if I were you.

Really.

Actually you just solidified my point as well. (See bolded.) It's a chancy team at best. A very good team? Sorry, not even close. Maybe in a 20 man league. This is nothing at all against the guy's drafting skills. Not trying to be an ***** (I just call it as I see it.) here but that team is chock full of inconsistancies, what-ifs, and who-knows. It's not the worst team ever (far from it) but I wouldn't bet on a team like that.

Overall, solid. I know I'm staying away from Lynch unless he drops into the 3rd round just because of off the field issues, but still a solid pick. You might want to drop Zach Miller. I think he's gonna be irrelevent fantasy-wise.

Heap is injured too often to have drafted him so high. I said in the other FFB thread where you posted, 5 yrs is half a career in the NFL, and Heap hasn't played a full season since I don't know when.

Your mid- to later-round picks should have been done in a completely different order and you might have had better players because of it.

Ahman Green has never been injury free. Heap, likewise.

I won't draft him this yr. Had him last yr, waste of a pick.

i dont know how you guys can praise a team like this?
if im correct, its a 10 team league?
imo you dont bring anything special to the table.

1st off i agree with whoever said it a little earlier portis is going to be the man this year and althought barber is good (i like this pick) i still would have taken portis over him.

for your 2nd pick lynch....im not really sold on this guy....just my opinion but i dont see him doing more than 1200 yards and 6 tds...in a 10 team league id want more production out of my 2nd back or id take a top wr with this pick

chad johnson flat out is a bum in terms of Fantasy Football. *bite your toungue let me explain* you look at his stats the past 4 years and the majority of his points are scored in 3-4 games a season. He'll kickass for you those 3 or 4 weeks but hes nothing special for the rest of the year.

on to Roy Williams i look for a drop in production from last year with martz gone and kitna no longer slinging the ball around.

off to hasselback hes a decent QB but for a 5th rounder in a 10 team league your in the bottom 1/3 of starting qbs
