Anyone care to see a sample mockup page for the All New Registry?

I didn't want to post until I felt comfortable with the progress being made, but at this point, I can say that, barring a major unforeseen problem, the new Registry will go live in the first quarter of 2013.

The entire project was created from scratch, based on collector's opinions about our old Registry, other collectibles Registries, and what people have said they wanted to see in a new BGS/BVG Registry.

I'm sorry, with all the testing of the Registry site, we will not be coming on here to answer questions. We are trying to get it live as soon as possible and appreciate the incredible patience you have had with us. Trust me, I think I can safely say that everyone will love the entirely new look and feel.

Following is a mockup of one of the pages to give you all a glimpse of what is coming very soon.

What's the status of the Beckett mobile app? It sure would be nice to have as a quick reference when visiting card shops...

Looks decent - Hope you realize the 1st quarter is 1/3rd over already lol I just sent off 30 cards to be graded and am packing up another 10. I really hope this works. The talk of this being ready soon the last couple weeks is whats kept me here so I hope I didnt make the stupidest decision of my life!

I realize I mentioned we wouldn't be answering questions here, but since you were the first to ask, I'm making an exception :-) The question above I can't answer. I don't have anything to do with the mobile apps, but I know they are also looking at several of these at some point and know that I, myself, would use various Beckett apps quite a bit, although I am a die hard Android fan, not iPhone!

Anyway, yes, I realize that it's getting close to February, which is why I waited until now to post this. There is work to be done, but the progress is significant. I've personally been working 7 AM to 1 AM on a regular basis as this is my personal project, Bill S. whom many of you know, is also very involved in this, and I have a team of another dozen additional people (mostly developers) working on this. So I am very confident of a pre-April launch and extremely excited about my very, very long overdue pet project finally becoming a reality.

As the time gets closer, there is a possibility of using some of you die hard Old Registry fans to help us beta test shortly before launch. Those interested, please PM me, or better yet, email me directly at manderson@beckett.com as I don't check PM's much. Same goes for other wishes for Registry, although be aware, at this point, additional features would be a version 2 update. Another area I would love ideas is in contests and prizes - what would you all like to see?

I just spoke with Mark and he's looking for testers for the Registry. He's looking for the testing to take place some time in February, but can't give dates quite yet. So I'd continue to cataloging, just to be on the safe side.
