I'm a San Diegan, so I'm going to Padres FanFest in a couple weekends.

Padres is. You walk around for auto vouchers early, then get autos. For free. I enjoy it, even though I'm a Yankees fan.

Homer, I've never been. It's a 4 hour drive for me, but I am going. I'm bringing my son (10) and one of his friends. Do you wait in line long for autos? Are the same players there throughout the day? Thanks.

I have a 10 year old as well and have decided he doesn't have the attention span (or desire) to sit around with me all day. I would certainly recommend bringing things to do for both of you. It is usually a mad dash when the line opens up. Not sure how this year works, but I think it was mostly one shot for each player with a few exceptions. Plus side is there are usually lots of games for the kids.
