Yeah, those rings are awesome (the balls/ the cards really nice, too)
I'd love for there to be a Yankees WS ring collection like that, but 27 rings!?!? The box would have to be about 3X the size!
That's one hell of a nice Xmas gift, buddy!

I guess if I saved used tinfoil and used tea bags instead of old comic books and old baseball cards, the difference between a crazed hoarder and a savvy collector is in that inherent value.

Chance is that someone is working on it as during spring training usually the Yankees do a ring give out. Never been able to catch them since they seem to be on weekdays and I live 2.5 hours away and can't make it out for a day game

So, another Floridian, eh?
I'm about 5 hours south of Tampa.
Before they moved, I'd go to almost every spring training home game and early bp. It was great, but the 5 hour drive is sucky and flying there sucks worse... I'd rather just fly to the Stadium and catch a game in the Bronx or the rare inter-league with the Marlins.
I've seen some Yankees rings on eBay. NEver knew they were given out during spring training games. A ring would be good motivation to drive 5 hours Smile
I think that phreakyq has a special ring collection... Danbury mint or Franklin mint?
