Well it looks like my mets blew it again and let another great pitcher leave the organization. I started this chant a few years back but it never really caught on at citi field.

One great year in 9 seasons. They were smart to trade him

How'd they blow it? It was a great move. The Mets were gonna finish at the bottom of the east next season with or without him. He's 38 so he doesn't have many years left and I don't think he will replicate that season again. So with or without Dickey you were gonna finish toward the bottom, might as well build for the future...got some decent prospects and possibly the next Mike Piazza.
