yeah the rc auto /10 just sold for like 122.

in the OPs title it says he got the card cheap. everybody decided to give props except one other person when in fact he paid full book for a sticker insert auto. there is no "inscriptions" version of the rc auto, it is simply a subset of sticker autos which he wouldnt be able to resell for much more than 30 dollars if that.

not sure why it's bugging me so much. im glad people on here show love, but overspending is not a good thing

Congrats on pulling the trigger for a card you have been wanting for awhile!

im sorry but you paid full book (60) for a sticker insert auto of matt moore. i know there are a whole bunch of positive responses but in terms of spending your money wisely, you did not. you over paid by a lot. im sure i come off as a jerk by posting what i think, but at least im not lying to you

I got this same story in '93 when I picked up my Favre auto mini-helmet for $60. The way I see it there is NO WAY of spending money wisely on cards. This is my HOBBY, and only money that is extra is spent. In truth this is not wise, but I don't claim to be a wise man.

um ok. how enlightening...

so you are saying that paying 60 when you could pay 30, or, in my opinion like 20 dlvd is smart? oh no, that's not what you are saying, you are just saying something completely irrelevant

i was suspended when you originally posted this thread and was just baffled by such a positive response. everyone kept saying you got a great deal when in reality it was the complete opposite. it's a nice card and im glad you like it, but you didnt get it real cheap and i wanted to say so. the card is not an "inscriptions" version of the rc like you may have thought when you bought it and you also probably didnt know it was a sticker auto until you received it (if you have yet).

ive overpaid on certain cards before, knowingly and unknowingly. one was actually a card very similiar to yours of kevin kolb from ultimate. now i knew what the card was when i bought it, i just didnt make a good decision and lost 25 bucks on it. instead of people telling you you did well when you didnt, it would be more beneficial of them to tell you you overpaid so that you can do better next time. i know it's not a big deal and you are happy with the card but you certainly could have paid around half of what you did pay.

Thanks for the support...... Im not sure if you know my Panther collection but I dont buy them to make a profit , I have overpaid many times for cards I need..( Tim Shaw Contenders example) I will continue too, sometimes I do good sometimes I dont. I have several Moores on the way that I got for a steal so it balances it self out....

i like that spotlight. i lost out on an ahmad the inmate spotlight the other day that went for more than the moore. we probably differ in that i like to buy cards as investments or flips, but even so, anyone wants to pay as little as possible for a card
