Hey guys! I wanted to start a contest once a month for all beckett members. It's mainly going to be in the Football theme and boards. We may mix it up in the future, but as of now it will be strictly football.

I wanted to jar people's brains for some ideas for the contest's: So please leave me some feedback Don't be shy!

There will only be one winner a month because this will be all me
We haven't went over prizes/stash awards yet.
Wanted to see if people were interested in this idea first.

Wonderful idea. Last contests I ran was probably last year. Watch it though, some members will get the "trivia" questions immediately! Smart group here. Heck....I'm gonna look for my " A/G" contest and see if I can give ou an example....

I think it would be interesting...and reading the old contest now. That looks like it was fun.

i like it my friend,great idea! i am a Huge fan of football history not just the NFL so i would find a few stumper's about the evolution of the game,the gear through the years or the early 20th century college players/teams...or mabye..... pre 50s NFL player nicknames or something...Well....if i was to do one..

gotta make them toughies..lol

Well was kind of thinking towards the creative aspect; Don't get me wrong I love trivia, but anyone and their mother can use Google these days.

Here are some examples:

- Explain in detail; Why you collect _______ ? How did you get into the hobby? etc etc...

: Like actually write a essay kind of.. not a 2 sentence master piece.


- Draw/Paint freehand or digital: Your Team and the players you collect.

: You don't have to be an artist!!! It's the thought that counts!



**** I know some of you may frown at this idea and that's O.K. We just wanted to be able to do something that could get the whole family into it!! Just trying to wake some people up Get out of the Zombie Ebay mode!

well I just don't want to target members with wife/husband and kids. single people can have the same amount of fun i hope in this as well.
