I picked up some loose packs of 08 upper deck documentary the other day and several cards in each pack either had dinged corners or chipped corners/edges. One card was damaged so bad I just had to throw it away. I would like to know if this was an issue with the specific set or did I just have some tough luck?

I had the same issue a few months ago, but I got them out of a value box so I pretty much expected it.

I got mine from the reduced pack box, so maybe I should have expected it as well.

God I hate that set!!! But seriously, I think some cards in that set were damaged to begin with and sitting in value boxes doesn't help.
