You are correct I was thinking of something else when I pulled it. I just got home and checked the one I have and the Mantle was the one that promted me to buy a box.

I got an all-star (Willie Montanez) and a world series winner (Flea Clifton).

There is good and bad, as with all boxes, but since it is only one card and a mystery it is kind of a tough call.

Is any box really worth it anymore?

For $20.00, I think it's worth a roll of the dice. We probably throw $20.00 away on other stuff like cigarettes (no offense to all you smokers) with absolutely no possible ROI.

I collect 1969 Mets memorabilia and 1960 Topps baseball, nothing else.

The boxes are $30 at Walmart. Blowout has them for $19.
Always trading for Barry Larkin. Also looking for Joe Burrow and Tee Higgins.

Will consider trading for other current/past Cincinnati Reds and Bengals.

Excellent point. Tough question. They are if they bring us enjoyment, that's my theory.

100% agree. I enjoy opening packs so spending $20 for a one card pack doesn't appeal to me. If you get a nobody it's over that quick. If I bust a box of say regular Topps I might not get jack but I enjoy the process of opening and sorting for awhile. It takes my mind off everyday life for that time which is why we have this hobby and others.
