Thought about 0 and 00 but figured 1-99 was good enough, lol

#19 and #9 are two of the hardest choices but Yzerman/Sakic at #19 were my real hard calls and #9 was Howe until I was able to obtain a Richard (much harder auto to land)

Just in case you want to branch out from "the best players", I have a sweet Milan Kraft 2001 hard signed card.

Then again, Kraft did suck. Keep it up!
Yeah, I am trying to make it the best or one of the top players to wear that number

Trottier was the best 2 way center in the NHL before Yzerman, has more Cups, (including 4 in a row which will never be done again). He's got 500 goals & 1,000 points & is considered one of the best clutch players & winners ever.

Oh and Yzerman himself said the reason he wanted to wear #19...was because Trottier wore it.

I'm aware of why Yzerman chose the number 19, but that doesn't have anything to do with who the better player is.... and it isn't to suggest that Trottier wasn't a spectacular player.

Trottier has three more Cups than Yzerman, but you can argue that Yzerman's back-to-back in the late 90's was done in a more difficult time to win consecutive Cups than when Trottier got his 4 - but you're right, 4 in a row will probably not be duplicated, at least any time soon - and certainly he was more of a bystander in the Lemieux-Jagr show with those 90's Cups

Yzerman also has 500 goals & 1,000 points, was also a noted 2-way center, and probably the best captain of his generation.

Yzerman has 330 more points than Trottier (granted, in more games played), but a better point-per-game average, and 168 more goals - and their playoff points and goals stats are almost identical.

And, Yzerman did it all with one team - serving as captain for 20 years, an NHL-record
