My 1000 Card Club
#21

RE: My 1000 Card Club
I'm impressed by all of these numbers. Out of the 50,000 or so cards I have between 4 sports, I might have one or two guys that I have 100 of. Very, very impressive collections.

RE: My 1000 Card Club
I would say 2 players I have over 1,000 cards of and that would be Derek Jeter and if I had to guess I would say somewhere between 4,000 and 5,000 different cards of his and Don Mattingly. Other than that there is probably no one close.
Derek Jeter Collector from 1992-1996. 305 out of 306 99% complete.

1450/1919 1990's Jeter cards 76%

2,022 different, Beckett recognized. I'm currently inventorying it again to account for non-Beckett cards.

WOW! where does one safe keep 40,000 cards? I'm still entering all of mine in ORG but I would guess that I have 15,000 and am worried that I will run out of space.

That falls into Super, Super collector category. I've been a Yaz fan my whole life and I'm just trying to get to 500.

Same with me. Growing up in Maine, I idolized Yaz when I was a kid. I have just over 400 different Yaz cards.
