So...I just noticed that eBay is now showing the number of "watchers" on all auctions to everyone.
How does this affect whether you bid early, watch until the end, fight harder for a card, or doesn't it matter...

Most watchers are watching it to see how much it sells for and have no interest in buying it (unless the price is really good) so that they can determine what to sell theirs for.

As far as bidding, use a sniping program, and it won't make any difference as to who's watching it

It doesn't matter to me... I do like it as a buyer, because I know how many people are interested in that card... the part I don't know is, are they watching to buy it for cheap (if they can) or they watching it to see what it sells for, because they have one they want to sell too?

for me, I "watch" some cards, like the Jambalaya Retro auto, because I am interested & curious what it will sell for.. seen it was up to $30K, but then somebody cancelled their bid... that's the problem with high dollar auctions.. are they all legit? probably not..

Other reason I watch cards is because I have one that I might be interested in selling some day... like my UD BLACK KOBE TROPHY AUTO /25.... or when I had my E-X 06-07 Kobe Credentials now... which I sold for 4x BV, another guy had it listed for over a $1K.. when I sold mine... when it first came it it was selling around $40-75 that first year released... I pulled mine form a pack, along with my Jambalaya MJ, which I been trying to move...
