Overgraded cards?

Overgraded cards?
Are any of you getting over graded cards in trade. Now most of my trades are for under $100 so it's not the end of the world but I've been getting more and more cards that were listed as default Nm Mt 8 with bad corners and creases . Just aggravating as hell and a pain to contact the other trader and I'm sure embarrassing for them too.

RE: Overgraded cards?
Are they Beckett/PSA graded, or are the traders just saying it's an eight?

I think he's just talking about people not assigning accurate grades for their cards into the organize for trading. Though, I could be wrong.........

If that is the case, I chalk it up to one of three things.

1) They just don't see anything wrong with it when it is there. Some people have thousands upon thousands of cards in their organize. I can't imagine people inspect every card with a fine toothed comb.

2) They feel that their card looks better than it actually is because, well, it's their card. I'm thinking that many people just generally believe that what they have, whether it be cards or something else, is just better than what it is.

3) They are dishonest and/or lazy.

4. Maybe they just have no clue on how to grade them......

They are listed in traders org. as 8's ,the default setting in the Beckett trade section.

Yea I have seen this. Mostly I trade low end stuff so I don't make a big deal about it. I like my cards nice even if they are low bv.
