I just purchased a box of 2012 Finest today as my first break of 2012 product. I am completely disgusted with what I found. All of the cards have a white powdery substance on them, that does not come off. Has anyone else had this issue? As far as I am concerned, these cards should not have been released this way and they are absolutely positively JUNK! I am not too happy right now http://www.beckett.com/forums/images/smilies/angry.gif Topps USED to be my favorite manufacturer! I am completely turned off by this display of lack of quality assurance. I thought that white powdery dust was purposely added to packs to prevent glossy cards from sticking to one another...

They are on all the finest this year.....Like was said above, to prevent sticking .....guess they have plans of this product sitting on the shelves for a long period of time.......All the powder comes right off though....I used and old undershirt because its soft and wiped it right off.....

They say it's to prevent sticking but the hidden secret of truth to that white powdery substance is that it was on the cards that were being produced when Charlie Sheen was having his walk-through of the Topps facility...lol

They have been using the powder since last years Finest...wipes right off..

Im more turned off by the card be serial numbered out of a billion this year...

I HAVE HAD ISSUES WITH THE POWDER GETTING IN THE JERSY'S AND IT WILL NOT COME OFF THEM...... IT IS A BAD IDEA...
