Just starting collecting. Am 60 and not able to get out or around much. so need new hobby. first there isn't a hobby shop withing three hour drive of me. so what company, set would be best all around and easy to complete a set from. now those 400 card set just isn't the way to go. no way to get commons. help

you won't find many sets that are much less than that unless you collect just certain teams or players. Or you could just wait and buy the complete boxed set later on they usually run around $40-$50 or so maybe a little more if there are several really hot rookies that year.

SP authentic usually has 100 in the base set. I completed the set from 2 hobby boxes ( around $220)

true but what fun is a buying a full set as compared to opening packs and well its just more fun. less boring i guess no surprises in a full box set.

welcome and nice to see a new face around here!!! so you want to do a set huh?? mabye a nice 30-50 carder?..400 is too much....please check out these places so you can see the cards and years...might get an idea what you like..

Press Pass in my opinion is a good one to try. All are college cards but a 50 to 100 card set and you can pull autos and mem cards.
