I recently picked up a collection of Hockey cards and there was a bit of baseball in it. I've been trying to get some opinions on what type of trade/sale value to put on this as I don't follow baseball cards at all and when dealing with 1/1's it's tough. I know we can't ask for values on cards that have a price in the guide but is it okay to ask for opinions on a 1/1??

RE: Need help on this one
ok, on the other site
A gold refractor auto/patch 3/50 sold for $22 http://www.ebay.com/itm/2012-BOWMAN-PLAT...4846649e6e A platinum red auto/patch #17/25 sold for $55 http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...true&rt=nc Another one # 7/25 sold for $38 http://www.ebay.com/itm/2012-Bowman-Plat...4606a8d2c9 The superfractor is listed at $599, with 3 rejected offers, so I would say your looking at maybe $100 to $125 for yours. i know a few people will disagree with that, but to be honest, the plate/patch/auto's are as ugly as heck, and that will affect the sale value, a die hard Pedroia fan may pay a little more, but not much more. Another thing that will affect the sell price is the fact that it really isn't a 1/1 but a 1/4 since there are 4 plates for the front of that card
That exact card was sold on ebay for 200 just two weeks ago
http://www.ebay.com/itm/2012-BOWMAN-PLAT...500wt_1182 so I would say 200 is about EXACTLY what is is worth lol and if that was you trying to sell I was going to say 200-250 before I even searched for it
Finder's Fee for these cards if I obtain them(NO EBAY or COMC).

He said he had it up at $500 and took the $200 offer on the first day it was listed. I wasn't sure if that was too low or in the right range as it wasn't listed long and there is another one listed at $795 as well. Thanks for the help guys.

RE: Need help on this one
My son pulled a Pedroia Printing Plate 1/1 from Topps Chrome back in 2009 and had it sit in the local Card Shop for over a year with a $100 price tag and it never sold. And this is Red Sox country. I'd take it off his hands but I don't like the looks of the printing plates.

I put this one back up at $500 as I only collect hockey and it seems everybody interested has no hockey to trade |
