hey, barring some controversy, was the 2004-05 sp authentic rookie redemption of Crosby, was that the first NHLPA approved card of his released or did another brand like Artifacts come out before the redemptions could be filled?

yeah it is not considered his true rookie but sp authentic in the year of the strike put out redemptions, beckett lists them as sp authentic rookie redemptions, not rcs, but since they are, chronologically first, was that really Crosbys first NHL card produced?
