I went away to Lancaster PA this weekend with the girlfriend and her family... Not getting a teaching job this summer has made me go on a shopping spree of cards so I purchased the following out in Lancaster..

2 Bowman Platinum blasters
1 Rack Pack...
I got the Mike Wright and the Kole Calhoun which was cool to see two hits... saved me money since I spent 50 bucks instead of 150 for a box.

I came home on Saturday night and went to Target the next morning. Picked up a rack pack of Bowman Platinum and for some reason they had ONE rack pack of 2011 Topps chrome... so I said ok lets get both

I got the Joe Panik autographed jumbo relic and the Mark Trumbo RC #'d to 562.

$70 overall but still some decent hits

I might send the Trumbo in to get graded because it looks perfect...and not interested in trading the prospects now but maybe some advice on how these prospects look

Panik is a mediocre. He is batting .289 with 7 hr in 117 games at San Jose (A). I don't see him moving up to the bigs anytime soon with Brandon Crawford holding down the shortstop position for the Giants.
