He couldn't beat Kevin Smith though. The Lions starting RB job will go to Smith for sure.

Alexander might have to wait until training camp begins and people start getting hurt. Him, Benson, Kevin Jones, and Ron Dayne will all be fighting over the same jobs. Oh, Travis Henry too. Lot of big name RB's available.
