I opened 2 boxes of Bowman Platinum BB, so that I could get the special limited numbered, show exclusive Blue Foil Parallel set. The special sets were #/499. They gave out 100 sets each day of the show. I was able to get 2 special sets.

Panini had a pack redemption program. The Box you purchased and opened would determined the amount of redemption packs you would receive. I picked up a box of 2011-12 Past & Present Basketball = 5 redemption packs.

The hits from the box.....Gamers Jersey, Luke Walton; Elusive Autographs, Major Jones & John Salley; Draft Pic Redemption, Pick 20; Kobe Bryant Au redemption (arrived today).


Each wrapper redemption pack had 2 cards.....

Topps Mini will be a Internet only product. Topps had a limited number of boxes for sale at the National. With the purchase of a box they gave a special 5 card National exclusive mini set.

Here are the goods from the Topps Mini. Each box has 1 AU or relic.
My hit was a Matt Cain Jsy, I also got a Joe Benson Gold RC #54/61, and 22 other RC's including the Harper that I have in a Top-loader.

The 5 card National mini set includes....Yu Darvish RC, Bryce Harper RC, Stephen Strasburg, Roy Halladay & Matt Kemp.

Just getting around to posting a few more pickups from the NSCC. Another Topps promotion was redeem 3 wrappers from 2012 Topps/Bowman MLB or NFL product receive one of nine special Gypsy Queen Mini Cards.....I opened a box & 15 packs of Topps BB to get a full 9 card mini set and 5 extra mini's.


The Topps box hit was a Ian Kinsler GU Jersey card. A few of the other cards that I liked from the box were the 1987 Topps Mini's inserts and a Gold Sparkle Jeff Locke RC. There were numerous base rookies including RC's of Yu Darvish & Yoenis Cespedes
