Quick Question

Quick Question
Hey Guys, i know i havent been very active the last few months, just had some other stuff going on, anyways,

Does it matter value wise what company you have your card graded by, for example, is a card worth more if it is graded by BGS rather then PSA, or vice versa?

I ask this because i was looking at a few jagr rc's on the bay and it seemed that the ones that were BGS graded were generally more $ then the ones that were PSA graded, or is it just a coincidence?

LMK, Thanks!

RE: Quick Question
I am not a big fan of grading cards, but I would always go with BGS. Check this review of the grading service companies from CBC:

RE: Quick Question
Some people prefer BGS, some PSA. They seem to be fairly equal, with BGS being just a touch better.

Stay away from KSA, GMA, BCCG (which is a beckett service but NOT BGS) and all the others.

RE: Quick Question
I concur with bonnev659.
Collecting all the Ron Hextall Cards especially those
pesky 1 of 1 cards and other low print runs.
I am also collecting Bernie Parent, Pelle Lindbergh,
Antero Niittymaki & other Flyers goalies.
