Can anyone tell me why if I subscribe to Beckett monthly Hockey why my local shop gets it before my subscription comes to my house, Usually about a week before my subscription.

No, but me and a few friends all subscribe to The Hockey News and we live in the same area...same "home" post office and sometimes there's three or four days in between each one of us getting our magazine. Then again, other times we get them the same day or only a day or two apart.
