Bug Peel or Not Peel REDUX
Due to insurance reasons once a year have to go through the cards and rescan , reinventory, and basically regroup my stuff,,,,

While doing so and enjoying seeing stuff I haven't touched in a year made me think again to my desire to get both PEELED and UNPEELED versions of the Pinnacle Cert series and the Finest series stuff,,,,

So-- we revisit the subject--- how do people feel about peeling or leaving the covering on ??

I'm neutral since I collect both Smile

Jeff

RE: Peel or Not Peel REDUX
I would always prefer peeled but realize there is some risk involved with damaging the card's surface. But looking at your pics above it's a no brainer from me.

Always looking for BGS or BVG graded cards for HOFers....especially the skilled positions.

RE: Peel or Not Peel REDUX
I was/kinda am building the 1997 finest refractor set (all graded at least bgs 9.0) and i have these simple rules:

If it is to be slabbed i peel it. I love the look of the cards without the peel plus the slab protects the card wayyy more than the peel (which wasnt designed for long term use anyway.)

If i have duplicates or it isnt getting graded i do not peel it. I figure in these cases i am going to end up moving the cards any way and i would rather the future owners make the call.

So in summary...i do both.

RE: Peel or Not Peel REDUX
I think the cards look much better peeled. With that said, when I did have some with those things, I never peeled them because I know I would have somehow messed it up.
