But, after the new deal is signed for this year, expect the cap floor to go down.

Also, the yearly hit is just a bit more than they paid last year for Weber on the one year deal 7.8 Mill

Weber was just calling Poille's bluff and it worked. I don't think he cares too much where he plays, other than the basic "not Columbus/Islanders/etc". I think he wanted to sign and was willing to play in Philly, but won't mind Nashville either.

the way it sounded to me was that he really did want to play in Nashville...Philly was just going to be a nice consolation for him. he signed it knowing that he would end up playing for a team he wanted to, no matter which one won. i would have liked for him to be a Flyer though.
