Apparently the move has nrought them to the cap floor. Anyone confirm/deny? I'm too lazy to research it further.

obviously Weber wants out, i dont understand why they would match it.
Weber was just calling Poille's bluff and it worked. I don't think he cares too much where he plays, other than the basic "not Columbus/Islanders/etc". I think he wanted to sign and was willing to play in Philly, but won't mind Nashville either.
the way it sounded to me was that he really did want to play in Nashville...Philly was just going to be a nice consolation for him. he signed it knowing that he would end up playing for a team he wanted to, no matter which one won. i would have liked for him to be a Flyer though.
