I honestly wouldn't cut it, but I might understand why he might though. The card has such a limited market of people with deep pockets and just want the card (more than likely will drop a ton in value because in 3 years for every stud there will be 4 nobodies). if you cut it though you can sell each individually and have several buyers for each card because that is what single player collectors want, compared to 1 maybe 2 who will sink that kind of money in it

That makes sense. Still, wasn't it hard to cut that thing up? Lol

I interviewed the guy who cut this card. I'll have a post up on the blog in a little bit.

I can understand the opening up the market part, but are you really going to make that much more from it than selling it as a whole? It does allow more people to get in on it but that's not really the point of the card. There are tons of cam newton or whoever autographed patch cards. There were only 5 of this huge booklet made and yours was the only one that was inscribed right? As a collector and lover of this hobby, I think it's kind of a shame to destroy something that unique only to dumb it down to something the hobby already has plenty of. I'm not trying to make anything personal, I just can't believe somebody actually did that. But to each their own I guess. It's your card, you can do what you want.
